The businesses, occupations, activities and establishments licensed by this Code shall be defined as stated in this Code. Lacking definition in this Code, they shall be defined as is stated in the Illinois Compiled Statutes. Lacking explicit definition in either this Code or the Illinois Compiled Statutes, the businesses, occupations, activities and establishments licensed by this Code shall be defined by the Village Clerk according to common usage.
