2-12-4: OFFICERS:
The police pension board is to elect annually at the regular July meeting from their body a president, vice president, secretary and assistant secretary. The village treasurer shall perform all of the duties, functions and activities in regard to collection and administration of the pension funds on behalf of the police pension board as provided for by state statute. The village treasurer has custody of all assets of the police pension fund and is to be bonded for the faithful performance of duties. The village treasurer shall keep the financial records of the police pension fund and sign all checks in accordance with direction given by the board or state statute. Signature cards at financial institutions should reflect the village treasurer as the principal signer. (Ord. 00-2111, 1-24-2000)
