Any advisory board or commission member may be removed, unless otherwise prescribed by State Statute or this Code, by the Village President for failure to attend meetings or inattention to duties. The Village President must report the reasons for the removal to the Board of Trustees at a meeting to be held not less than five (5) days nor more than ten (10) days after the removal. If the Village President fails or refuses to report to the Board of Trustees the reasons for the removal, or if the Board of Trustees by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all the members of the Board of Trustees disapproves of the removal, the member of the advisory board or commission shall be restored to membership on the advisory board or commission in question.
