Each advisory board or commission member shall be appointed by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees unless otherwise prescribed by State Statute or this Code. The members shall be appointed from the community at large, and serve for a term designated by State Statutes or this Code. Any vacancy occurring shall be filled for the remainder of the unexpired term in the same manner as in the case of the original appointment. One of the members of the Board of Trustees shall be appointed by the Village President to act as liaison between the Board of Trustees and each advisory board and commission.
