A. Custody Of Clerk: All of the printed copies of this code belonging to the village shall be deposited with the village clerk who shall deliver one copy thereof to the village president and each member of the board of trustees, village attorney and village manager direct. Remaining copies may be distributed at a cost of fifty dollars ($50.00) for other than elected or appointed officials of the village. (Ord. 89-04, 4-3-1989; amd. 2004 Code)
B. Presentation Of Copies: The village president and board of trustees shall have the power to extend or reciprocate courtesies of other municipalities by presenting them with a copy of this code, bound at the expense of the village, as to them shall seem suitable, and they shall also have the power to present two (2) copies to the Illinois municipal league. C. Loss Of Copy: It shall be the duty of each official of the village entrusted with a copy of this code to return such copy in good condition upon the end of his term of office. Failure to return said copy in good condition shall result in a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) to replace such code book. (Ord. 89-04, 4-3-1989; amd. 2004 Code)
