A. No overnight parking shall be permitted in public parking lots without a Village issued overnight parking permit.
B. Permits will only be issued to vehicles registered to a property adjacent to the public lot. Appeals and special permit requests can be directed to the Police Chief, Village Manager, and Village Board (or their designees) and issued at their discretion, when warranted.
C. The cost for an overnight parking permit shall be twenty dollars ($20.00). Overnight parking permits are valid for a one year period which shall run May 1st through April 30th.
D. Overnight parking permits shall be placed in the rear window on the driver's side of the vehicle.
E. Winter parking parameters during and following a snow event:
1. South lot: Parking will only be allowed on the east side of the lot.
2. North lot: Parking will only be allowed adjacent to the dumpster enclosure east of Emmett's and behind the Village Squire.
F. Overnight parking permits may be rescinded for a violation of any of the regulations outlined in this section. (Ord. 2017-03, 1-13-2017)
