7-2-5: EMERGENCY PARKING RESTRICTIONS:
   A.   It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle upon any street, roadway, alleyway or accessway on which a temporary prohibited parking sign shall have been placed, where said sign shall have been placed at both ends of the block where said parking is prohibited, and on the side or sides where said street, roadway, alleyway, accessway or parking lot on which said parking is prohibited, and, finally, where said sign shall have been placed not later than six o'clock (6:00) A.M. on the day on which the prohibited parking shall commence and where said prohibited parking shall become effective after said signs have been in place for six (6) hours.
   B.   Said temporary prohibited parking shall continue in full force and effect until such sign shall have been removed by the director of public works or the chief of police for the village.
   C.   The locations where said temporary prohibited parking sign shall be placed shall be determined where emergency or extraordinary conditions exist and are declared by the village president or the village chief of police. In such event, the said village president or the chief of police shall direct the director of public works or chief of police to install said signs in the manner hereinbefore set forth.
   D.   Each sign so placed shall clearly state "Temporary Prohibited Parking" pursuant to authorization of the village president or the chief of police due to emergency or extraordinary conditions pursuant to this section. (Ord. 89-04, 4-3-1989)
