A. The police department shall charge a thirty dollar ($30.00) administrative fee on any arrest, including a traffic or warrant arrest, to be levied and paid at the time of such arrest. If the processing fee cannot be paid at the time of the arrest, the individual shall be billed.
B. In order for the fee to be assessed, the subject must be processed in the West Dundee police department's booking room.
C. When the arrest involves a juvenile offender, the parent or legal guardian shall be responsible for paying the processing fee.
D. The processing fee shall constitute a debt due and owing to the village, and the village may seek to obtain a judgment on the debt and enforce such judgment as provided by law. (Ord. 2007-07, 3-5-2007)
