There is hereby created the village of West Dundee emergency management agency ("WDEMA") to coordinate emergency management planning, preparedness, and response with the intent to prevent, minimize, repair, and alleviate injury or damage resulting from disaster caused by enemy attack, sabotage, or other hostile action, or from natural or manmade disaster, in accordance with the Illinois emergency management act 1 . WDEMA shall be considered a separate municipal responsibility, but shall fall under the guidance and fiscal planning of the fire and inspections services department. (Ord. 94-07, 4-18-1994)
