2-2-5: GENERAL JURISDICTION OF THE COMMISSION:
   A.   Applications for approval of appropriateness are required for the following types of construction within the "historic district" as defined in title 9, chapter 6 of this code:
      1.   Demolition.
      2.   New single-family.
      3.   Single-family exterior.
      4.   New multiple-family.
      5.   Multiple-family remodel/addition.
      6.   New commercial/industrial.
      7.   Commercial/industrial remodel/addition: All building elevations and site designs as visible from public right of way.
      8.   Signs: Freestanding, wall and permanent window that is not subject to previous approval by the commission tenant sign criteria.
   B.   Applications for approval of appropriateness are required for the following types of construction outside the historic district:
      1.   New single-family: Infill only.
      2.   Single-family exterior remodel/additions: When front elevation improvements exceed forty five percent (45%) of assessed value for building.
      3.   New multiple-family remodel/addition: When front elevation improvements exceed forty five percent (45%) of assessed value for building.
      4.   New commercial/industrial remodel/addition: All elevations and site designs as visible from public way.
      5.   Signs: Freestanding and wall when not subject to previous approval by the commission tenant sign criteria.
