The bond for all city employees not otherwise covered by this title shall be in the form of a $5,000 blanket bond, the premium for which shall be paid by the city. The bond shall be for the protection of the city and the public against loss due to acts or omissions of the city employees. The amount of the bond may be more than $5,000 for certain employees as determined by the City Manager.
