§ 34.10 ABSENCES, HOURS OF WORK, AND SICK LEAVE.
   The Personnel Director may adopt rules prescribing hours of work and the conditions and length of time for which leaves of absence with pay and leaves of absence without pay may be granted. Such rules shall include, but shall not be limited to holidays, personal leave days, vacations, sick leave, injury leave, maternity leave, bereavement leave, civil leave, and military leave. The rules, which shall be effective from and after the time that they are approved by the City Manager, shall supplement and not be in conflict with any valid ordinances pertaining to such leaves.
