For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
"DISABLED PERSON." A person confined to a wheelchair or who uses braces or crutches; a person who, because of the loss of a foot or leg or because of an arthritic, spastic, pulmonary, or cardiac condition, walks with difficulty or insecurity; suffers from faulty coordination or palsy; is so impaired that, functioning in a public area, he is insecure or exposed to danger; or whose mobility, flexibility, coordination, and perceptiveness are significantly reduced by age or temporary disability.
