§ 72.03 LIMITATIONS OF STOPPING AND PARKING.
   (A)   No person shall stop or park a vehicle exempt when except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with directions of a police officer or traffic control devices in the following places:
      (1)   In front of sidewalk ramps provided for persons with disabilities;
      (2)   Within an intersection or on a crosswalk;
      (3)   Within 30 feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, stop sign, or traffic control signal located at the side of a roadway;
      (4)   On any controlled access highway;
      (5)   Within a highway tunnel;
      (6)   Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
      (7)   In an area between the roadways of a divided highway; or
      (8)   In any designated fire lane.
   (B)   For any violation of the propr offense charged, the minimum fine shall be $100 for the first offense and shall be $250 for any second or subsequent offense.
