(A) Generally. No person shall disturb the good order and quiet of the municipality by clamors or noises, by intoxication, drunkenness, fighting, quarreling, wrangling, committing assault, assault and battery, using obscene or profane language in the streets and other public places to the annoyance of the citizens, or otherwise violate the public peace by indecent and disorderly conduct, or by lewd and lascivious behavior.
(B) Complicity. Any person permitting an act of conduct prohibited by division (A) of this section to be committed within or about his or her room, house, building or premises shall be deemed an aider and abettor in the violation of division (A) of this section.
(C) Disturbing sounds or noises in public places. No owner, keeper, manager or any person in charge or control of a hotel, night club, restaurant, dance or amusement hall, tavern or other public place, shall engage in or permit the playing of musical or other instruments, singing, loud talking or the making of other noises in or about the premises in such manner as to disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
(D) Other loud noises. No person shall operate or cause to be operated, any whistle, rattle, bell, gong, clapper, hamper, drum, horn, player piano, calliope, radio, phonograph or other sound producing or sound amplifying instrument or otherwise create noise or sound in such manner as to disturb the peace and quiet of a neighborhood or interfere with the transaction of business or other ordinary pursuits. Nothing herein shall be construed to affect the usual and reasonable operation of steam railroads, electric railways and motor buses, or to prohibit the reasonable use of automobile warning signals, the reasonable ringing of church bells or the reasonable and ordinary noises attendant on athletic contests or lawful public or semipublic meetings, parades or celebrations.
(E) Permitting rioting, reveling and intoxication in public place. No owner, keeper, manager or any person in charge or control of a hotel, night club, restaurant, dance or amusement hall, tavern or other public place, shall engage in or permit rioting, reveling, intoxication or drunkenness in or about his or her place of business or premises.
(f) Penalty. Whoever violates any of the provisions of this section is guilty of disturbing the peace, a minor misdemeanor.
