(A) Part-time employment positions are hereby created for the Village of West Alexandria to be entitled part-time service and street employees. These employees shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Village Administrator.
(B) The Village Administrator shall schedule the employees on a week-to-week basis, as needed within his or her department, up to a maximum of 24 hours per week. The employees shall be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
(C) Such employees shall be paid at a rate to be determined from time to time by Council, with no fringe benefits. Such employee may work a maximum of 24 hours per week.
(D) These employees shall follow all village employment rules and rules contained in these codified ordinances, including rules for the reporting of hours worked under § 34.08.
