A. Any person who shall throw, place or leave or cause to be thrown, placed or left any ashes, dirt, filth, rubbish, slops or any obstruction or encumbrance in or upon any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place within the City shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than twenty five dollars ($25.00) for each offense, and every day that such ashes or other matter so remain after notice to remove the same by the Mayor or any police officer shall be deemed a separate offense.
B. Any person who shall throw, place or deposit any paper, rags, fruit peelings or other offensive matter or thing in or upon any street, alley, sidewalk or other public place within the City shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than twenty five dollars ($25.00). (1994 Code)
