A. The water rents or rates shall be established by the city council and increased by three percent (3%) annually. The rates shall be collected for all water consumption and water service rendered by the city for which each service shall be by metered registration. (1994 Code; amd. Ord. 030512, 3-5-2012)
B. All water bills are due and payable fifteen (15) days after being sent out. Any and all bills not paid on time shall be delinquent and charged a ten percent (10%) penalty. (1994 Code)
C. Fifty (50) days after a bill has become delinquent the water may be shut off from the premises and when so shut off shall not be turned on again until all water rents and all other charges due for service to the consumer, including a fifty dollar ($50.00) reconnection charge, have been paid.
