Any person who violates any provisions of this chapter, or any provision of any regulation adopted by the enforcing officer pursuant to authority granted by this chapter, shall, upon conviction, be punished by a fine of not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) or by imprisonment for not more than one hundred eighty (180) days; and each day's failure of compliance with any such provision shall constitute a separate violation.
