3-12-1: DEFINITIONS:
The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
ACCESSORY STRUCTURE: A building subordinate to and smaller than a principal building or mobile home, that contributes to the comfort, convenience or necessity of the occupants of the principal building or mobile home.
BOARD OF APPEALS: The zoning board of appeals.
DEPENDENT MOBILE HOME OR DEPENDENT TRAILER COACH: A mobile home which does not have a toilet and bath or shower facilities, and the use of such mobile home is prohibited in any mobile home park.
ENFORCING OFFICER: The legally designated enforcing officer (or his authorized representative) of the city of Wenona.
INDEPENDENT MOBILE HOME OR INDEPENDENT TRAILER COACH: Any enclosure or vehicle used for living, sleeping, business, or storage purposes on wheels which is suitable for year round occupancy, and containing toilet and bath or shower facilities. This definition is not intended to include travel trailers or camper buses.
MAY: Permissible.
MOBILE HOME LOT: A parcel of land designated for the exclusive use of the occupants of a single mobile home, also termed "mobile home space".
MOBILE HOME PARK: An area of land upon which twenty (20) or more mobile home lots are located and shall include any building, structure, vehicle, or enclosure used or intended for use as a part of the equipment of such mobile home park.
MOBILE HOME STAND: That part of an individual lot which has been reserved for the placement of the mobile home, appurtenant structures or additions.
PERMIT: A written permission issued by the enforcing officer permitting the owner to construct or alter a mobile home park under this chapter and regulations promulgated hereunder.
PERSON: An individual, firm, partnership, corporation, company, or association.
SERVICE OR COMMUNITY BUILDING: A building housing manager's office, recreation facilities, laundry facilities, maintenance equipment, toilet facilities for employees, and emergency sanitary accommodations.
SHALL: Imperative and mandatory.
TEMPORARY MOBILE HOME PARKS: The location of multiple mobile homes in a given area for a period of fourteen (14) days or less. (Ord. 070102B, 7-1-2002)
