(A) No person shall connect a residential, commercial, or industrial sewage system to the village’s sanitary sewers without first obtaining a written permit therefor from the Village Administrator. The Administrator is hereby authorized to grant such permits, and to exact a fee therefor, in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.
(B) The fee to be charged for a permit to connect a residential building by way of a sewer line not less than six inches in diameter to any existing sanitary sewer line shall be $1,000, which shall include a $50 inspection fee, together with a fee of $1,000 for each residential unit beyond the first unit served by such connection. In addition to the payment of the permit fee, the person desiring such connection shall be responsible for making the tap to the main sewer line and furnishing all materials, supplies, and labor therefor at the sole cost of such person.
(C) The fee to be charged a commercial or industrial user for a permit to make a connection by way of a sewer line not less than six inches in diameter to any existing sanitary sewer line shall be $7.50 per estimated sewage flow gallon per day as determined by the Ohio EPA’s current Suggested Sewage Flow Guide, with a minimum fee of $2,500, which shall include a $50 inspection fee. In addition to the payment of the permit fee, the person desiring such connection shall be responsible for making the tap to the main sewer line and furnishing all materials, supplies, and labor therefor at the sole cost of such person.
