§ 32.02 DEFINITIONS.

   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates of requires a different meaning.

   CHIEF OF POLICE. The peace officer in charge of the police force of the municipality.

   CLERK. The Clerk of the municipality, including any deputy or member of the office staff of the Clerk while performing duties of the Clerk’s office.

   COURT. The Municipal Court of the Town of Wellston.

   GOVERNING BODY. The town’s Board of Trustees.

   JUDGE. The Judge of the Municipal Court, including any acting judge or alternate judge thereof as provided for by the statutes of the state and this chapter.

   MUNICIPALITY or THIS MUNICIPALITY. The Town of Wellston, Oklahoma.

   THIS JUDICIAL DISTRICT. The District Court Judicial District of the State of Oklahoma, wherein the government of the municipality is situated.
