§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any violations of the provisions of this traffic code shall be punishable by fine or imprisonment as provided in § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.

   (B)   (1)   It is a violation within the town to drive and not wear a seat belt or use child passenger restraints.
      (2)   The Department of Public Safety shall not record or assess points for violations of the seat belt law.
      (3)   Violations of the seat belt law shall be punishable by fines and costs not to exceed $20.
   (C)   Any person failing to stop or to comply with any of the requirements of § 70.31 of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined as provided in § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
