105.18  VOTING BY WARDS FOR COUNCILMEN.
In voting for members of Council, citizens shall vote only for the Councilman for their own ward.  However, candidates for all four wards may be printed on one ballot but in such cases they will be clearly designated as candidates for Council for their respective ward and the ballot shall contain instructions directing that only one member of Council be voted for, in the voter's particular ward.  Votes for Councilmen outside of the voter's particular ward will be null and void but will not nullify the entire ballot.  Candidates for Council shall be residents of the ward which they seek to represent.
