At the general election to be held on Tuesday, June 13, 1967, there shall be elected four Councilmen, one from each ward to replace those having terms expiring on July 1, 1967. There shall also be elected a City Clerk. The Councilmen and City Clerk shall be elected for a four-year term. At the general election to be held on the second Tuesday in June, 1969, there shall be elected four Councilmen to replace those having terms expiring on July 1, 1969. There shall also be elected at such election, a Mayor and a Chief of Police and Collector and Treasurer. The Councilmen to be elected for a four-year term, the Mayor, the Chief of Police and Collector and Treasurer shall be elected for four-year terms. Thereafter an election for the offices of Mayor, Chief of Police, Collector and Treasurer shall be held every four years and for City Clerk and Councilmen every four years.
