Each barber or person working at the barber trade in the City, before working shall first obtain from the City a license to engage in the profession, but before the City Clerk issues a license the applicant shall present to him his State license, whereupon the City Clerk shall issue a license to the applicant who shall thereupon pay to the City Clerk the sum of five dollars ($5.00) which shall go into the City Treasury. The applicant shall keep the license posted in a conspicuous place in front of the chair he is using. (1967 Code Sec. 6-39)
