(a) Designated Areas. There is established a parking meter zone upon the streets or parts of streets of streets, in the City set forth as follows:
Charles Street, from the north side of Sixth Street to the south side of Ninth Street.
Main Street, from the north side of Sixth Street to the alley between Eighth Street and Ninth Street.
(b) All frontages on the streets defining such zones are to be included therein, except for the frontage abutting Main Street and Charles Street of the area known as the Town Square, which was formerly a portion of Seventh Street.
(c) Future modifications. The zones set out in subsection (a) hereof may be diminished or extended and enlarged, without amending this ordinance using the following procedure:
(1) The City Property Committee may recommend to the Council modifications of the parking meter zones provided for herein.
(2) Upon hearing and reviewing such recommendations, the Council may modify the parking meter zones by a majority vote in favor of the recommendations by the City Property Committee.
