For the purposes of this article, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:
(a) "Doctor's space" means an unmetered vehicle space provided for use of a specified doctor, and his use only, whose name and profession is clearly indicated on sign attached to ordinary meter standard.
(b) "Parking meter" means any mechanical device or meter not inconsistent with this article placed or erected for the regulation of parking by authority of this article.
(c) "Parking meter space" means the space alongside the curb in which a vehicle shall be properly parked as set forth in Section 363.11.
