(a) Vehicular traffic on that portion of Seventh Street located between Main and Charles Street shall be restricted and limited to the following:
(1) Emergency and other authorized vehicles during times of emergencies, and
(2) Commercial vehicles having a gross vehicular weight of 10,000 pounds or less, for the express purpose of loading and unloading at those establishments located on the above referenced portion of Seventh Street. Such usage shall be for the time reasonably required for loading and/or unloading purposes.
(b) That portion of Seventh Street described in subsection (a) hereof shall be a pedestrian right-of-way area and all vehicular traffic shall proceed with caution and shall yield to pedestrian traffic on such street.
(c) The following described parking spaces shall be designated as commercial vehicle loading zones and shall be used by such vehicles for such purpose and only for such time period as is reasonably necessary for actual loading and/or unloading purposes:
(1) That parking space on Charles Street located nearest to the northwest corner at which Charles Street and Seventh Street intersect.
(2) That parking space on Main Street located nearest to the northeast corner at which Main Street and Seventh Street intersect.
(d) All other metered parking spaces on Charles Street and Main Street nearest adjacent to the corners wherein such streets intersect Seventh Street, other than those referred to in subsection (c) hereof, shall be public metered parking of a term not to exceed fifteen minutes.
(e) Whoever violates subsection (b) hereof shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 303.99. (Ord. 84-3. Passed 11-13-84.)
