Effective July 1, 2013, the members of City Council shall receive the sum of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per month as compensation for the performance of all the duties of City Council as set forth in the City Charter, as well as those duties set forth in this article. In addition to the compensation set forth herein, the members of Council shall receive the additional sum of fifty dollars ($50.00) for special meetings of Council and fifty dollars ($50.00) for standing committee meetings, provided that the Council member actually attends such meetings.
