A joint session of Council and Township Trustees shall be held at the first regular meeting of Council in May of each year, when there shall be appointed one member of the Board of Cemetery Supervisors for a term of three years beginning on the first of each January following such appointment and until his successor is appointed and qualified. The Board shall consist of three members, at least one of whom shall be a Councilman of the Municipality and at least one of whom shall be a Trustee of Wellington Township.
The Board of Cemetery Supervisors may fix the compensation of the members thereof, and such compensation shall be in accordance with the time actually consumed by such members in the discharge of their official duties, but shall not exceed the amount provided in Ohio R.C. 759.31.
