The Fire Chief or any subordinate member of the Volunteer Fire Department acting in his stead, in case of an alarm of fire, shall not permit any of the apparatus of the Volunteer Fire Department to be removed beyond the corporate limits unless such fire is in an area which has a lawful contract with the Municipality for fire prevention and protection. Any violation of this rule shall constitute sufficient grounds for suspension without pay for a period not exceeding sixty days.
