The Fire Chief and other members of the Volunteer Fire Department shall be appointed by the Board of Trustees of the Wellington Community Fire District and shall continue in office until removed therefrom as provided by law. In case of a vacancy occurring in an office, it shall be filled at the next regular meeting of the Board after such vacancy occurs and in the manner stated.
