A training program to be conducted by the Chief of Police or patrolman, senior members of the Auxiliary or other competent law enforcement personnel shall be instituted and carried out on a regular basis. An Auxiliary Police officer on probation must have sufficient training, at the discretion of the Chief of Police, before he or she is allowed to ride or assist in any duties.
