The salary of the Director of Law for services shall be fixed by Council from time to time. In addition to such salary, the Director of Law shall be allowed and ordered paid by Council for all legal services done outside of the Municipality, such sums therefor as are reasonable and just, together with necessary traveling expenses, on the presentation to Council of an itemized statement of the same.
