The present Municipality, known as the Village of Wellington, Ohio, shall continue to be a body politic and corporate, under the name of the Village of Wellington, regardless of its population; the provisions of this Charter shall apply whether this Municipality is deemed a village or a city under State law. This Municipality shall continue with the same boundaries, with powers and authority to change its boundaries and annex other territory contiguous thereto, in the same manner authorized by the general laws of Ohio.
