(a) The rate schedule to be charged to consumers for electrical power supplied by the Village of Wellington Municipal Utilities as attached hereto, is hereby established and denominated as the initial "Base Rate Schedule" for electrical service; the attached base rate schedule shall be implemented for electric service billings issued on and after May 1, 2010.
(b) Notwithstanding and in lieu of the foregoing, the rate schedule to be charged to consumers for electrical power supplied by the Village of Wellington Municipal Utilities as attached hereto, is hereby established and denominated as the "new electric rate schedule" for electrical service; the attached new electric rate schedule shall be implemented for electric service billings issued on and after January 1, 2024; and subsequent rate increases set forth in the new electric rate schedule shall be implemented on the dates set forth therein.
