(a) The Municipality shall furnish the standard water meter for a standard installation which shall be a five-eighths by three-fourths inch meter. The customer shall furnish a meter at his own expense if there is any other type meter required with openings, inlet and outlet, larger than the standard size.

(b) No plumber or other person except an officer or agent especially authorized by the Village Manager shall at any time remove or repair any meter or fixture connected therewith, which has been set by the Utilities Department.
