925.06 STOP AND WASTE; SERVICE COCK.
   (a)   A stop and waste shall be placed inside of each service stop for the purpose of emptying the pipes in the buildings when necessary. Such stops shall be so located as to be easily accessible, must be protected from freezing, and must be equal in strength to the ferrule in the street main, three-fourths inch approved pattern.

   (b)    Service cocks shall be placed on the outer side of the sidewalks. The boxes therefor shall be of iron, and of such pattern as approved by the Village Manager. They shall be numbered consecutively and bear the same number as the permit under which they were installed.
