(a) No tap shall be made in the main less than ten inches from a joint, or less than ten inches from any tap previously made in the same length of pipe.

(b) Ferrules will be inserted in the main, service pipe laid to the curb stop, and a stop cock and box attached, by the properly authorized agent of the Village Manager under the supervision of the Village Manager, at the expense of the Municipality whenever permits have been issued and paid for.

(c) All ferrules and corporation cocks for connection with mains shall have a minimum inner diameter of three-fourths inch.
