921.02 DUTIES OF PLUMBING INSPECTOR.
   (a)   Enforcement. The Plumbing Inspector is hereby authorized and directed to enforce specifications and regulations in accordance with the provisions of this chapter for the purpose of providing control of the installation of sewerage connections and inspection thereof. He shall maintain accurate records of all permits issued for and inspections made of the construction of house sewers and connections to the public sewers. He shall also require the abandonment and removal of connections to the public sewers which violate any of the provisions of this chapter. He shall inspect all materials and workmanship in connection with the construction of connections and roughed in plumbing before connection with the Municipal sewerage system. All roughed in plumbing shall conform to the Ohio Basic Building Code requirements, even for one and two-family dwellings and appurtenant structures.
   (b)   Workmen. Only workmen approved by the Plumbing Inspector for such work shall be employed in construction work.
   (c)   Violations. It shall be the duty of the Plumbing Inspector, upon receipt of knowledge that any part of this chapter has been violated, to notify the Mayor and the Village Manager of such violation.
