(a) A violation of any provision of this chapter shall be a misdemeanor of the first degree.
(b) Council, in its discretion, may eliminate from consideration any applicant for the award of a cable television franchise within the Municipality because of a violation or violations of the provisions of this chapter by any of its members, agents or representatives.
