(A) It shall be duty of the Chief Code Official, Building Inspector and Code Officials of the Inspections Department to enforce all ordinance provisions relating to zoning, building and property codes. The Code Officials and Building Inspector within the Inspections Department shall issue citations for violations of city codes and ordinances under the departments’ jurisdiction. Each and every day during which any such violation continues shall be deemed a separate offense, unless otherwise set forth in said code and ordinance.
(B) Citation shall be defined for the purpose of this ordinance as a document served upon the responsible individual(s) stating the specific ordinance or code violation, the fine amount, and the court date.
