The Traffic Commission is the sole entity through which application for RDPS is made. Applications for same are reviewed with recommendations to Council for the establishment of RDPS within the rights-of-way of the corporate municipal boundaries of Weirton. RDPS will be approved on a yearly basis. It will be the responsibility of the disabled person seeking an RDPS to re-apply every two years. This application renewal process will occur between January 1 and January 15 of each calendar year. The initial application fee is a nonrefundable $40, with no fees due for re-application.
