(A) There shall be a Police Civil Service Commission for the city. The powers, duties, rules, regulations and other provisions applicable to such Commission shall be the same as those provided for in W. V. Code §§ 8-14-6 through 8-14-23. Such sections are hereby adopted by reference and shall be known and designated as the “Police Civil Service Code.”
(B) The Police Civil Service Code has been amended in substance by the following ordinances: Ordinance 459, passed 10-12-76, Ordinance 803, passed 12-16-85, and Ordinance 1164, passed 3-24-97, all of which amend Rule VIII.
