Beginning at a point on the West Virginia and Ohio State line where it intersects with the northern corporate limits of the city; thence following the corporate limits east across the Ohio River to the center line of Kings Creek (a stream); thence eastward following the northern corporate limits along Kings Creek to a point of intersection of Kings Creek and the center line of Patricia Avenue extended eastward (not in the city); thence southward to a point on the center line of North 12th Street, being 800 feet northerly and eastwardly on the center line from the intersection of North 12th Street and Thurman Street; thence southerly and easterly along the center lime of North 12th Street to the intersection of the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue; thence westward along the center line of Pennsylvania Avenue to the intersection of the center line and the right-of-way of Monongahela Power Company tower lines #210, 216, and 226; thence southerly along said right-of-way to the 11th Street substation; thence southerly along the right-of-way of Monongahela Power Company tower lines #200 and 202 to the southern corporate limits, being Harmon Creek; thence westward along the southern corporate limits to the intersection of said limits and the Northern Conrail Railroad main line; thence northward and westward along said Conrail Railroad main line to a point of intersection due west of the intersection of Fourth Street, West Virginia Route 2, and St. John's Road, being the intersection of a pipe line (Columbia Gas transmission line #29); thence westward along said pipe line, crossing the Ohio River to its intersection with the Ohio and West Virginia state line; thence northward along the state line to the point and place of beginning. Comprising Ward 1, City of Weirton, West Virginia, and Hancock County voting precincts 14, 15 and 19.
