(A) The Sanitary Board is authorized and directed to adopt and enforce specifications and regulations in accordance with the provisions of this article for the purpose of providing control of the installation of sewer connections and the inspection thereof. The Superintendent shall maintain accurate and complete records of all permits issued and inspections made. The Superintendent is empowered to require the abandonment and removal of connections to the public sanitary sewers which violate the provisions of this article.
(B) Council affirms that the wastewater collection and treatment system of the city is under the exclusive control of the Sanitary Board as provided for in Ordinance No. 97, adopted May 21, 1956, and as provided for such boards by W. V. Code Article 16-13, as amended.
