§ 357.06 VISITOR PERMITS.
   (A)   To allow those holding existing parking permits to obtain one visitor permit per household, upon their request.
   (B)   VISITOR PERMITS are defined as permits used by visitors only. Residents residing within the city shall not use a visitor permit as permission to park on city streets.
   (C)   Visitor permit shall cost one $1 per permit and qualifying residents shall receive one visitor permit per household.
   (D)   Each permit shall have a beginning and ending date clearly defined on the permit and each permit shall have the resident’s address clearly defined on the permit.
   (E)   Exception to rule would be visiting nurses and/or therapist or medical staff residents may request a special permit for the time needed. Also, commercial vehicles working at a residence have the authority to use a visitor permit during the timeframe working.
   (F)   Residents living where parking permits are required that bring home commercial vehicles are not authorized to use parking permits for that commercial vehicle and not authorized to use visitor permits for that commercial vehicle.
   (G)   A resident holding a visitor permit shall not give, loan, or sell their visitor permit to another resident to use as a regular parking permit.
   (H)   Any person found guilty of misusing parking permits shall be fined not less than $100 and not more than $500.
   (I)   Visitors may park on the streets for a period of not more than two hours without a parking permit and/or a visitor’s permit.
