§ 1501.23 AUTHORITY TO ENTER PREMISES.
   (A)   The Chief of the Fire Department, Inspectors of the Bureau of Fire Prevention, or any inspector thereof may, within reasonable hours and with a 24-hour notice (other than emergencies), enter any building or premises within his or her jurisdiction for the purpose of making any inspection or investigation which, under the provisions of this Fire Prevention Code, he or she or they may deem necessary to make.
   (B)   No person, owner or occupant of any building or premises shall fail, after proper credentials are displayed to permit entry into any building or onto any property, by the Chief of the Fire Department, Chief Inspector or any inspector thereof for the purpose of inspections pursuant to this Code. Whoever violates this section shall be punished as provided in § 1501.99.
