(A) It is in the best interest of the citizens of the city to prohibit the feeding of deer. It has been well established by scientific research that the feeding of deer is detrimental to the animals. The feeding of deer causes a public health nuisance and safety hazard and threatens the health and general welfare of the public.
(B) A fine of $30 shall be imposed on any person or persons found to be in violation of this section.
(C) The Animal Control Officer, county animal warden, and the Police Department shall be given the authority to enforce this section.
